Welcome back to Tuneful Tuesday! Sadly, I missed the boat on sharing a Christmas song, as my blog took an unexpected hiatus…ah well. Such is life.
In any case, I’m sharing a song today from another of my favorite bands, The Everly Brothers. I was only really properly introduced to them about a year and a half ago, though I’d heard of them and heard a bit of one of their songs before then.
Then my mom suggested I listen to their “All I Have to Do Is Dream,” and that started my Everly Brothers journey. Soon I was hooked. Their harmonies are gorgeous, I like their cute, wholesome vibe, and they simply made quite a lot of good music.
This particular song I didn’t discover until a little more recently. I like it quite a lot, though – the harmonies are beautiful (I mean, of course they are, it’s the Everly Brothers), and it’s a pretty melody. Rather pretty lyrics, too.
