I did not have the foresight to prepare a post for this occasion, so this will be exceedingly short. I merely wish to bring to your attention the fact that today is Barricade Day, the day of the June Rebellion in 1832, which has been immortalized by its inclusion in the story of Les Misérables.

Seems like a good day to listen to extra Les Mis, no? To start you off, here is the lovely original French version of “Do You Hear the People Sing”:
