Merry Christmas, dear readers! I could apologize for being late, but I shan’t…the Christmas season isn’t over, it’s just beginning. (Didn’t you ever hear that “Twelve Days of Christmas” song, grocery stores who removed all your decorations on December 26?)
But besides that making a good excuse for my not putting a post up on Christmas Day itself, it would be rather silly if Christmas were just one day, wouldn’t it? Christmas is celebrating such an amazingly breath-taking thing…so much so that our joy can’t be expressed in mere words, but overflows into singing and decorating our whole houses and exchanging gifts…why would you only celebrate that on one solitary day?
So, merry Christmas! In keeping with the situation, here is a lovely version of what is probably my very favorite Christmas carol (please forgive the bad visual; just listen to the music):
(I especially like this one, since I was already familiar with Anthony Warlow through musical theater…he was the first Australian Enjolras in Les Mis, and in the original Australian cast for The Secret Garden, among other things.)

Merry (late) Christmas, Lizzie! I hope you had a blessed day celebrating the Lord! Yes, indeed, Christmas doesn’t end on the 26th!! 🙂
I love O Holy Night too! Thanks for sharing that lovely version.
Thank you! No indeed! Retailers, take note 😉
Isn’t it beautiful? Choosing favorite Christmas carols is so hard, but that one has to be one of my favorites.
